Karl has over 30 years of experience leading and managing global technology and risk management businesses.

Born in South Africa, his international career has included time leading businesses in South Africa, Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, and the USA, working for the likes of Vodafone, Logical, Rivo Software, and Progress Software.

The past ten years have seen Karl focus on high-growth Private Equity (PE) backed technology companies, helping them to scale effectively and achieve successful exits.

Prior to joining IsoMetrix, Karl was CEO of SafetySA, a leading provider of safety training, testing, inspection, and certification services. Karl holds a degree in Engineering (EEE), as well as an MBA, an EMBA, and a Doctorate in Economics.
