The prestigious Verdantix EH&S Innovation Awards recognize the people and organizations who are instrumental in launching successful, innovative technologies which facilitate management of HSE and deliver superior results.

We are now able to address and focus on key issues,” explains Mirriam. Transnet Engineering implemented IsoMetrix software across 132 depots and 6 factories in South Africa, which resulted in an 83% cut in audit fees and a reduction in lost time injury frequency rates from 1.02 per 200 000 hours to 0.42, over a four-year period for the financial year ending March 2016.
Transnet Engineering has met the requirements of international standards, in particular, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. They were certified in accordance with these standards during the 2016/17 Financial Year, an achievement IsoMetrix facilitated. “The system enabled a smooth auditing process,” says Mirriam.
Paul Marketos of IsoMetrix adds: “We are thrilled for Transnet Engineering. While our technology has no doubt been an enabler, software can only be as good as the people who are using it. Transnet Engineering had a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve and brought this to life in the project we shared with them. It has been a true partnership working with Mirriam and her team.”
