IsoMetrix are finalists in 2016 FNB Business Innovation Awards

IsoMetrix is proud to have been one of the finalists in the prestigious FNB BIA (Business Innovation Awards), announced at a gala ceremony this evening in Bryanston.

The awards, held in partnership with Endeavor, recognise innovation as a key driver of business growth and scalability, and present a unique opportunity for high-impact entrepreneurs to realise their potential.

“We believe that our approach to innovation over the past five years has enabled us to develop the world’s best technology for Governance Risk and Compliance, and we are extremely pleased to be recognised for this,” says Paul Marketos, founder, and Director at IsoMetrix. “The FNB selection panel was made up of extremely experienced business people. We got a fairly intense interrogation our strategy and vision. Getting their approval, through winning this award, gives us encouragement that we are on the right track.”

“Participating in this award has elevated our status and generate interest in our GRC software solutions. It is a huge boost to our brand awareness,” says Paul.

Working with Endeavor

Dennis Marketos, the company CEO, along with fellow directors Paul Marketos and Paul de Kock, were recognised as Endeavor High Impact Entrepreneurs in 2013. Becoming an Endeavor Entrepreneur is a rigorous but rewarding process. “You have to be clear about your strategy and meet all the criteria. The company needs to be at an inflection point with huge potential for growth,” explains Paul.

The criteria for selection are:

  • having a minimum annual turnover of R10-million
  • being founder-led
  • being a unique business
  • having the potential for exponential growth
  • having successfully raised the capital necessary to get to this point
  • being scalable
  • having a business model that is repeatable in any country or region.

In turn, IsoMetrix has received a lot of assistance in terms of networking and mentoring and training at Stanford university. “Graduates from MIT have come out to work with us on strategy. We currently have an experienced analyst from Ernst and Young assisting our finance department to improve our internal processes and systems. It has been a very beneficial process to work with Endeavor,” says Paul.

Innovation defines us. We punch well above our weight and compete with companies much bigger than us who spend ten times what we do on R&D,” says Paul. “It is because we have been so innovative that we have software that is better than theirs and allows us to beat them in big deals.”

IsoMetrix has a clear vision and is well on its way to being recognised as being the market leaders for GRC software. “Our participation in this award will certainly go a long way to helping develop awareness of IsoMetrix as a brand,” concludes Paul.

Congratulations to winners WiGroup International!
