Leading EHSQ software provider, IsoMetrix, is proud to announce the appointment of Giles Nelson as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Nelson will be responsible for IsoMetrix’s go-to-market and product strategies to scale the business and enter new industries. Giles has over 20 years of software experience and as a graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge, he brings on board a powerful blend of academic expertise and practical experience.
Giles said, “I am thrilled to be part of the IsoMetrix team, especially during this period of international expansion. The team has a great amount of in-depth industry knowledge which provides the customer with a holistic risk profile view. The solutions allow customers to use and understand advanced data analytics. It’s exciting to explore the vast amount of available business opportunities and make a meaningful contribution in accelerating the further growth of an already established market leader.”
Prior to IsoMetrix, Giles co-founded Apama, a streaming analytics software company, which remains a market leader in its data and analytics category. Most recently he served as Chief Technology Officer at MarkLogic, the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy at Software AG and the Vice President of Product at Progress Software. With an extensive technical background and general management experience, Nelson will play an integral role in supporting IsoMetrix’s strategy of becoming a truly world-class software company.
Giles is passionate about changing the way people do business and maintaining long-term business relationships. He relates this principle to the core values of IsoMetrix; “IsoMetrix believes in providing customers with the best possible software solutions. The company believes in trusted partnerships versus fleeting supplier-vendor relationships, which means maintaining close and open relationships with customers, suppliers and staff to ensure shared success. IsoMetrix leverages solutions for social and community benefit as well as contractor, supplier and third-party management.”
