Developing Platinum mine signs IsoMetrix

Platinum mine signs IsoMetrix and its Bakubung Platinum Mine, owned by Wesizwe, is scheduled to commence production in the last quarter of 2018. The first blasting of the ventilation shaft took place in July 2012.

 

Wesizwe has appointed IsoMetrix to provide solutions for Health, Safety and Environment management; Occupational Health management (medical surveillance); Occupational Hygiene monitoring; and Compliance and Risk management, during the development process.

 

Wesizwe will use the standard templates provided by IsoMetrix and will be able to import their existing risk register. IsoMetrix offers an integrated solution for Governance Risk and Compliance, and can be extended in future to include areas such as Sustainability management and Performance management.

 

Paul Marketos, Sales Director at IsoMetrix, says, “It is always exciting to get in at the ground level of a project. Bakubung will start production in 2018 and should reach full production in 2021, two years ahead of forecast.
