Paul de Kock (Managing Director)  

                                            

Paul holds an Honours degree in Environmental Management from the University of Natal and has completed the Certificate Programme in Management (MAP Wits). He has 16 years of work experience, 6 of these as an environmental scientist and manager within Eskom, a large electricity supply utility.

The past 10 years have been as a consulting environmental scientist and director of Metago Environmental Engineers (Pty) Ltd. During this period he has specialised in environmental impact assessment, environmental management systems design and implementation, management system software development, risk based environmental assessment and environmental auditing. In 2004 Paul was also appointed Managing Director of Metrix Software Solutions (Pty) Ltd.

 

Lucille Hallowes (Director)

                                            

Lucille completed a PhD in Hydrology after obtaining a BSc (Hons) cum laude at the University of Natal. She has 12 years of work experience having worked as a hydrologist before being employed as an Environmental Scientist at Metago Environmental Engineers (Pty) Ltd. For the past eight years she has worked for Metrix Software Solutions (Pty) Ltd and is currently on the Board of Directors. At Metrix her focus has been on product design, business analysis, quality assurance, software support processes, management system consulting and product related training.

 

Zander Rautenbach (Director)

Zander worked in the .NET development environment for 7 years prior to his appointment as Executive Head: Product Development at Metrix in 2009. His core specialisations are:

• C#
• .NET framework
• Silverlight
• System analysis and architecture
• Development and implementation of risk management related solutions
• Database design and implementation using SQL 2005/2008

In his role as Executive Head he leads a team of developers, Quality Assurance testers, Business Intelligence and SQL specialists.

 

Steve Simmonds (Executive Head: SHERQ Products and Services)

For the past 18 years Steve has specialised in SHERQ management consulting and facilitation services, with a specific focus on the implementation of management systems that comply with the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000 and ISO 17025 International Standards.

During this time he has worked with over 50 different companies varying from small, medium, large and national and international. As a certified Lead Assessor Steve offers consulting and advisory services to clients and their suppliers as well as SHERQ Compliance and System Audits.

Steve's work experience has taken him to various sectors of industries including the Mining, Petrochemical, Agricultural, Manufacturing, Packaging and Printing to name a few.

On a professional level Steve is a senior member and former National President of the South African Society for Quality as well as a former Director of the South African Quality Institute. 

 

Sajida Brey (Head: Product Support)      

                     

Sajida has had 15 of experience in software support. She has worked with and supported Microsoft and other products in a variety of industries and has been part of the Metrix team for the past 7 years. Currently she leads the support team and has grown with the IsoMetrix suite of products. She is dedicated to building and maintaining world class customer relations enabling the team to support our clients efficiently and effectively.

 

Muzikayise Flynn Buthelezi (Senior .NET developer)

Muzi has worked in the development environment for 6 years prior to his appointment as Senior .NET Developer at Metrix in 2010. His core specialisations are:

• Web Based Application Development (C# ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
• Doing analysis on new functionality requirements
• Documenting analysis & technical specs (CDR)
• Document Handover procedures 

In his role as Senior .NET Developer he ensures that IsoMetrix.NET product is developed according to latest development standards.
